Long before the foundations of the current hall were laid, this land was a dedicated open space for the village's youngest residents to play, it was also once home to the Home Office stores.
The construction of the hall was a significant undertaking that required clearing the way for a new community vision. Built as part of the new housing scheme, the site was home to new affordable houses along with a doctors surgery and park.
Removing the Old: All the old sheds and warehouses that once occupied the site were knocked down to create a clean slate for the Parbold Community Association (PCA).
Community Ambition: The goal was to replace ageing structures with a dedicated, professional space for arts, sports, and celebrations.
Parbold Community Association rent the hall from Parbold Parish Council, and have been responsible for its day to day running for over 30 years.
